Annual meeting with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam-China cooperation, dispute resolution

The meeting focused on exchanging the promotion of cooperation in the fields and the border issue, the two countries' territory. Deputy Le Hoai Trung expressed deep concerns of Vietnam before the tense situation and the implications of the recent complicated developments in the South China Sea; reiterated the need to strictly adhere to the agreement and the common perception of senior leaders of the two parties and two countries, especially the "Agreement on basic principles to solve the problem to direct Vietnam-China sea Nations "; the two parties together control dissent in the sea, without complicating action, expand the dispute; settle disputes by peaceful means, in accordance with international law; including the Convention on the Law of the Sea United Nations in 1982; fully implement the "Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the South China Sea" (DOC), the ASEAN countries soon complete construction of "the Code of Conduct in the South China Sea" (COC).
